VISIT TO A CULTURAL MONUMENT

 VISIT @ CLASSICAL ARTS MUSEUM, KOTTARAKARA

As a part of Kerala University B.Ed curriculum,We, First year B.Ed trainees  went for a field trip on 18th February,2022. This field trip was included in the community based practical programme of the first semester syllabus.  The purpose of the trip is usually for observation  and analysis of the day to day activities of that place and to make report of it and to make trainees explore with experiences outside their everyday activities.

We visited the heritage art gallery ,near ganapathy temple kottarakara on 18th February,2022.Riju sir divided the 105 B.Ed trainees into three groups. Each group consist of 35 student trainees. I was in the second group. Our faculties Vineeth sir and sudarshanan sir accompanied us.

The time scheduled for first group is from 10.00Am -11.00Am. The time for second group is from 11.00Am-12.00Pm .The time scheduled for third group is from 12.00Pm to 01.00Pm.

I reached there by 10.50Pm. We, the second  group entered the art museum by 11.15PM. The front view of the museum is very awesome and mind blowing. From the door itself we can see the five different kathakali demonstrations in the gallery . The five major Veshams in Kathakali are Kathi (Knife), Pacha (Green), Thaadi (Beard), Minukku (radiant) and Kari (Black). Then biji,the guide of gallery give us detailed information about the museum,Story behind kathakali orgin.The kottarakara Thamburan is known as the father of kathakali. The 108  dancing postures of bharatha muni's Arthashastra are seen there. A lot of old musical instruments,old coins and different things related to ancient Kerala history and arts are seen there. We took lot of pictures of these history and by 12.15Pm we left the museum and jointly took picture of the second group with faculties .

On the whole, the trip was awesome. All had a fantastic time and it was very much helpful for developing the historical knowledge about ancient art forms, exploration skills, imagination, and co-operation in the students . To conclude, the trip was very informative, effective and at the same time memorable. So organizing such field trips will be very helpful for the students to learn new through observation, exploration and interaction. It was a wonderful day and memory in my life.

SUPW SESSION

 SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) was conducted on the B.M.M II Training College Kottarakara in 16/02/2022.The Session start by 10.00Am.

Respected Sri.Mohanlal Sir took the class. He was a retired HSST teacher and he got best teacher award of Kerala government in the year 2020.His work experience class was very informative and full of joy.

Total 105 students in the first year batch are divided into three groups. Each group has 35 students .First group was assigned with task of making paper files and second group make paper carry bags and third group make handmade lotion.I was in the second group for making paper carry bags.

First of all Sri.Riju John sir introduce him among us with a detailed and informative words about mohanlal sir. Mohanlal sir begun the session by given wonderful introduction about the work experience and importance of it in our day to day life. We can make our daily needed items from waste materials by using our several minutes. It helps to protect the environment ,economical and help to make plastic free sorroundings.

At first he taught how to make paper carry bags to the second group in a detailed and clear way.As a student teacher included in second group am very happy to say that he is a teacher  with lots of patience. He come near to each of us, clear our doubts and mistakes and also help us in the making of paper bags. Students in two other groups also included in the  making paper bags.

The afternoon session was begun after the lunck break at 1.30Pm. During this session first and third group students was taught to make paper files and lotion. And he handled it simultaneously without a time lag .

The session ended by 4.00 Pm with Vote of thanks given by Tessy Raj from natural science department. She tanked our faculties who arranged this session for us and thanked mohanlal sir for his valuable time and work. It was a very informative and thought provoking session. He reminds us the need of making small necessary things in our daily life.

It was a wonderful day and an experience in our life.

COLLEGE UNION 2K22

 Our new college union for the year of 2021-23 was come to force On 15/02/2022 by taking oath given by principal in main seminar hall at 10.00Am. Jishnu Vijay from mathematics department is our college union chairman and athira.H from Malayalam department is our vide chairperson. Our classmate Sivakumar.S from physical science department is our sports club secretary. All appreciations to the new college union. May they can coordinate and do all activities in College.

 VALENTINE'S DAY CELEBRATION 2K22

Valentines day celebration is held on today 14th February 2022 at main seminar hall in the leadership of Dwani College Union.It was a wonderful day. A love Letter box is placed infront of college entrance to put letters .And many other programs also conducted. Teacher trainees participated in the couple dance and couple photography.It was an awesome experience in my life.

PERIODIC DAY CELEBRATION 2022

                         PERIODIC TABLE DAY CELEBRATION 2022

National Periodic table day is celebrated on February 7, when people working in the science domain celebrate the formation of the modern-day periodic table that contributed to the evolution of science and paved the way to remarkable innovations.

Intercollegiate Quiz Competition is conducted  on Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College in the leadership of Physical Science Association 2021-23 in relation with national Periodic table day celebrations. The competition is arranged through online mode. There are three rounds for the competition. We got 193 Responses from teacher trainees of different colleges in google form. Both B.Ed's and M.Ed's got chance to participate ion this competition. First Session of this competition is conducted through google forms on 7th February 2022 .193 Participants are participated and there are 25 questions for this round. Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marks.20 Participants who score highest marks in first session got selected to the second session. Second session is also conducted on 7th February 2022 through google forms. Second round named double-trouble had 35 questions and each carries one mark. We select five participants who score highest marks in least time to the third round named  "Bino-Dino".

Third round is conducted through google meet on 8th February 2022 at 6.30pm. Final round start with overall introduction about the quiz competition given by me. Then I invite Ancy to give welcome to the competition. Our honorable Principal Roy sir Presided the function and give greetings to all finalists  and wished them. Then Sudarshanan sir from Malayalam department give felicitations to the program.

Later the Thirds session begins at 7.00pm. Suryachitra and shintu are the quiz masters. First gam is the scrabble game then followed by Hide and Seek in the second round and then Who am I? in the third round.

The results of the quiz competition is announced by Dr.Leena Wahid teacher from mathematics department. First winner got Rs.1001/- as cash prize and second winner got Rs.501/- as cash prize. E-certificated are awarded to all the participants . Our Department head Vineeth Sir appreciated us for our hardwork. Leena teacher sung a beautiful song and Sivapriya miss from natural science department also appreciated us. It was a wonderful experience in my life. The coordination among 24 of us and Our head of department  resulted in such a big result.
