E-CONTENT DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

 As per the third semester optional paper syllabus a workshop on e-content Development was conducted at B.M.M II T.C, Kottarakara on 29th March,2023. The workshop was taken by Sri.Noushad.S.Salim , Assistant professor in Natural science Kerala University College of teacher education,kulakkada.The workshop started at 09.30 Am and ended by 03.00pm. He gave as an idea about development of e-content and creation of digital textbook. Then he divided as into groups optional wise . We prepared an e- content based on the topic 'SOURCES OF SOUND ' from the unit sound of 8th class basic science by including audio, video ,images etc. Our group has 12  members. It was a nice experience.

WORKSHOP ON MUSICAL EDUCATION

 As a part of B.Ed Third semester college based practicals a workshop on musical education was conducted on 28th March,2023 at B.M.M II training college kottarakara from 09.30 Am to 04.00Pm. First of all Sri.Riju sir gave as an introduction about the resource person and introduced him to us.

Our resource person is Dr.Thottam Bhuvanachandran Nair. He was a longtime visiting faculty of our college. He also famous in councelling and religious classes.One of his famous publication is Rithumozhi.

On the basis of the previously divided musical group we,mine Tincy, ancy, Sivakumar, chinchu,jissa and manju (17th group) selected a topic from SCERT Chemistry class IX part 2 textbook . We selected the unit periodic table and prepared lyrics based on this. We practiced the song and presented it on the stage today . We used the tune of one of the famous Kerala folk songs for the performance.

During marking and while announcing results the resource person specially mentioned about the usage of coconut shell in our performance.It was a nice and new experience. Through this class I realised about the new ways that can be included in my teaching in coming days and years. 

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATIONZZ

 

International women's day celebrations was conducted on B M M II training college kottarakara under the leadership of advaya college union. The function was inaugurated by honourable minister of  animal husbandry and dairy development smt.Chinchurani and Adv.P.Aisha potti presided over the function. The inauguration of women cell was done by the minister and in the afternoon session miss bmm contest was conducted.

       

       

         

WEEKEND REFLECTION-9

Weekend reflection-9 was conducted on 6th March, 2022 at seminar hall-2 in the presence of our principal Roy Sir. All our Optional teachers are in the hall during the time of reflection. Roy sir first gave us instructions regarding reflection and Called on schools in the order of the list. Teacher trainees from all the practicing schools come and presented their reflection based on 44 days experience in the schools. Ours reflection was presented by Gouri Shekar from physical science. She expressed our 44 days experience through her words. We got Opportunity to be a part of many functions in the school like annual day , sendoff , republic day etc. As a trainee teacher this school gave me many chances to uplift my innate abilities in teaching and in extra curricular activities.

Reflection begins at 10.00Am and ended by 11.45 Am. 

 

PHASE -1 TEACHING PRACTICE final day

      44 days long journey of first phase teaching practice at M.T.H.S for girls, kottarakara ended on today( 03 /03 /2023).The school gave us a sendoff party respected HM Jacob sir delivered a speech and blessings to our journey. Some of the teachers also marked their words and thanked us for our cooperation . It was a wonderful experience,a mixed feelings of happiness and bitter memories. The school gave me a wonderful opportunity to nourish the teacher inside me , help to mold me more bold .Besides teaching the school gave as chances to involve and gave initiative to many internal activities of the school .

This teaching practice helps me lots to improve us an upcoming teacher.

ACHIEVEMENT TEST @ M.T.H.S FOR GIRLS KOTTARAKARA

 Achievement test was conducted on 2nd March,2022 at 9- A class of M.T.H.S For Girls, Kottarakara.  

I Firstly prepared a question paper based on the objectives of bloom's taxonomy. Weightage to each objective was given as per the taxonomy. Questions from difficult, easy and average levels are included for all level of students. After making corrections by my optional teacher I conducted the test on 9-A Class. Most of the students wrote the exam well. I conducted test from the chapters NON-METALS and WORLD OF CARBON of 9Th Chemistry Part-2 of SCERT Syllabus.

Yoga class @ M.T.H.S for Girls Kottarakara

 Yoga classes was conducted on Marthoma high school for girls, kottarakara by us on 1st march, 2023. This was a part of our Health and Physical education's school based activity. We taught two yoga aasanas to the students with the permission of the physical education teacher of the school.
