      A workshop on digital album and digital profile making was conducted on 29th September 2022 at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College kottarakara .In the modern age of information technology,the technical knowledge of the teacher trainees is much needed for the academic teaching and learning. For that purpose this workshop was conducted. On the basis of instructions of Sri.Harilal K S Sir we all make digital album and digital profile and uploaded it in our blog also. Later he instructed us to make and upload digital album and digital profile related to our subject paper .

Drama on Stage

     Dramatization is an inevitable part of the academic curriculum. The essential knowledge about dramatization and aesthetic sense are needed for teachers .Thus through practising and performing dramas teacher trainees become capable of supporting their future students in classrooms. For that purpose dramatization is conducted on 26th August,2022 at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakkara. Firstly Riju sir divided the 105 teacher trainees into various groups, each group has five-six members. We are asked to prepare a script based on a topic from our subject textbook. We the last groups, Including Me Tincy mol, Suryachithra, Sreelekshmi, Sivakumar, Veena and Susan prepare a script based on the chapter "Acid, Bases and Salts" of Nineth standard SCERT chemistry textbook. We prepare script by including comedy and also chemistry knowledge from textbooks.

     One the basis of the script prepared all the groups present drama on stage. Sri.Satheesh.G.Nair sir evaluate and announce the marks of each group after the whole dramas. On commenting session, Satheesh sir said good words about our drama and we also got a good marks. The dramatisation day gave a good memorable experience to us . We got opportunity to watch many historical events again in real life situations through stage performances.

It was an unforgettable day in my life.

WORKSHOP on DRaMAtIzATion

 A workshop on dramatization was held on Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College Kottarakkara on 25th August 2022 from 09.30 AM to 04.00PM. Sri.Satheesh G.Nair Sir, well.known writer, theatre artist and also a teacher gave leadership to this workshop. Our teacher Sri.Riju sir introduced Satheesh sir to us. This workshop is a part of our college based practical of Kerala University's Second semester syllabus. On the forenoon session sir taught us about what is drama and its importance in school curriculum. Dramatization help in the improvement of academic performance of students. He rearrange our sitting arrangements and make us to sit us a large circle and taught us about the importance of voice modulations, communication skills etc. He conducted many activities do improve our communication skills and to irradicate stage fear.

 During the afternoon session the discussion on the script are conducted. He made corrections in our drama script and also provide lots of suggestions for the next day drama. We the last group including Me Tincy Mol, Susan, Suryachithra, Veena and Sivakumar prepare drama on the basis of 9th  Standard SCERT Syllabus, chemistry chapter- "Acids, Bases and Salts". We discuss our script with the satheesh sir and sir suggest modifications and drama setting suggestions. This workshop before dramatisation day help us a lot in our drama conduction.

ENGLISH ASSOCIATION ZEPHYR INAUGURATION

     The inaguration of English association of Baselious Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakkara was conducted on 19th August 2022 at Main Seminar hall from 2.00 PM -3.30PM. The association Programmes was inagurated by Our College Principal Roy. G Sir. Local manager of our college Re.Fr.M.Jacob presided over the function. The association is named as 'ZEPHYR'. A monthly supplementary reading material named 'The Bard's Corner' was published by English association teacher trainees as their association activity. The First volume of this supplementary material is made available to all student teachers through official group in PDF format. Three games are conducted to entertain the teacher trainees. It was a nice programme.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONZZ 2K22

75th Indepenence Day Celebrations of our mother Country India was celebrated on Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College Kottarakara on 15th August 2022 . The Programes started on 9.00Am. Our respected Principal Roy .G Sir hosted the National flag. Inter departmental Patriotic song competition and Quiz competition are conducted. Teacher trainees from Physical science optional won first prize in the quiz competion and Natural science Optionals won first prize in Patritotic song competition. Intercollegiate reels competition also conducted on this day. All the Programes are conducted on the leadership of Dwani college union. It was a awesome experience and memories in my life.
